Retro Artists Dave Perillo & Tom Whalen Join Retro Con!
Retro Con is proud to announce two more retro guests: Dave Perillo & Tom Whalen. Both are well known for their artistic talents, and have dedicated a great deal of their art towards the television shows and movies of the 70′s & 80′s.
Tom Whalen (aka Strongstuff)

Is a suburban-Philadelphia-based vector illustrator who has created original artwork for numerous clients including: Disney, Peanuts, Universal, Paramount, DC Comics, The Hub, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Topps, Frederator Studios, Udon Studios, The Transformers Collectors’ Club, Don Bluth Studios and Flight of the Conchords. Tom has just completed covers for issues of IDW’s GI Joe comic book series is a regular contributor to WIRED, PC World and Scientific American magazines. Tom has written vector tutorials for vectortuts.com and crafted numerous custom commissions for private clients.

Dave Perillo
Is an illustrator/cartoonist living in the Philly burbs. He has done artwork for Marvel’s Avengers, AMC’s Breaking Bad, the bands Flight of the Concords & My Morning Jacket, Teefury, Disney Television Animation, Disney Merchandising, Mad Magazine, Target, Acme Archives and Mondo. He has had his art featured at Gallery 1988, Spoke Art Gallery, Gallery Nucleus, LTD Gallery and many others.
