Don’t Cross the Streams! Win a Proton Pack at Retro Con!!
Let’s heat ‘em up! Our big raffle prize for Retro Con 2013 is going to be an unlicensed nuclear accelerator and particle thrower, aka a Ghostbusters proton pack! You can’t buy this in any store, it will be custom made by three of our friends that are huge Ghostbusters fans and experienced propmakers. The pack will not have sound, but will feature full sequencing lights and include everything you need to wear it! The base shell will be made of heavy-duty fiberglass, with the rest being created with a mix of metal, resin, styrene, and more. The pack has not been made yet, but will look very much like the pack shown (which utilizes the same base shell). It will be full scale and highly accurate to its movie counterpart. We’re super excited to have this as part of our show!!

Retro Con Pre-registrant Door Prize!
We are having a special raffle drawing that will be held ONLY for pre-registrants of the show! The prize will be a Transformers yarn doll created by show organizer Tony. The character will be Autobot engineer Wheeljack. He stands 16″ tall and is created from craft yarn woven into a plastic canvas skeleton (with everything hot-glued together). These are very time-consuming to make, so Tony does not create them often. Now is your chance to own a truly unique Transformers item!!
The drawing will be held early in the day, probably around 10 or 11am, and any losing tickets from pre-registrant drawing will go back into the raffle pool for the regular door prizes! Go to the “Buy Tickets” tab at the top of the retrocons.com page to pre-register. Good luck!!
