A veteran in the world of radio and voice acting for over 40 years, Larry is of course best known to us as voice of the heroic leader of the ThunderCats, Lion-O! The popular show by Rankin/Bass Productions ran for 130 episodes across four seasons (from 1985 to 1989) and still has a staunch fan base to this day!

Peter is perhaps most remembered for giving voice and personality to the ThunderCats’ resident scientist and architect Tygra! His weapon of choice was a whip-like bolas, and he had the ability of limited invisibility as well as telepathy.

Peter also voiced other prominent characters on the show, including…

Larry is also known for being the voice of guitar-playing Colonel Bluegrass on SilverHawks, martial arts black-belt Karate Kat (part of ‘The Comic Strip’ tv show), plus he gave personality to Count Chocula and Cocoa Puffs Sonny in cereal commercials in the 80’s. In more recent years he has been the announcer on vh-1′s ‘Best Week Ever’ program, and has reprised his role of Lion-o for humorous ThunderCats skits on the animated series Family Guy. He was also given the role of Claudus, father of Lion-o, on the updated ThunderCats cartoon in 2011!
