See the Jersey General at Retro Con 2023!
The Jersey General will be on the show floor at Retro Con 2023!
A faithful replica of the General Lee as seen on The Duke of Hazzard (right down to the “Dixie” air horn), the Jersey General will be available for photo ops with attendees. It will also be used for fan photo ops with the Dukes cast at the show- Tom Wopat, Catherine Bach, and John Schneider! All photo ops can be purchased at the show direct, and pricing option info will be on our website soon.
A big thanks to owner Tom Felice for bringing his sleek car to the show!!
The Munsters ‘DRAG-U-LA’ at Retro Con 2022!
It’s a tight fit, but DRAG-U-LA is coming to Retro Con!!
This is the actual SCREEN-USED car used in the classic 1960’s TV series ‘The Munsters’, built from an authentic ornate coffin! On the show, the car was invented by Grandpa Munster so he could win back the Munster Koach, which Herman lost in a drag race in the episode “Hot Rod Herman”. The car was also prominently featured in the 1966 ‘Munster, Go Home!’ feature film.
DRAG-U-LA will be in back of the hall, right next to Eddie Munster himself- Butch Patrick! It will be available for photo ops at the show.
See the Monkeemobile at Retro Con 2022!
“Come, my trusty cohorts! Let us to the Monkeemobile! AWAY!”
Joining the DeLorean time machine and screen-used KITT on the show floor at Retro Con this year will be another famous pop culture car… The Monkeemobile!!
Built from a modified 1966 Pontiac GTO, this spectacular replica is based directly on the one seen in the 60’s Monkees tv show. Look for this beautiful machine in back of the hall- right next to Micky Dolenz himself!
The Monkeemobile will be available for photo ops with the car by itself, as well as combo photo ops with the car and Micky! We’ll post up the price list as we approach showtime.
James Bond Lotus Esprit at Retro Con!
Con… Retro Con…
Frank Bedo and Monica Tulay of Jurassic Adventures have a new toy- A classic Lotus Esprit, very similar to the model seen in the classic 1977 James Bond movie ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’! They’ll have their sleek sports car on the show floor at Retro Con for Secret Agent photo ops with attendees, right next to their JP jeep. The car is deceptively small and difficult to enter/exit, so for the moment they are only doing photos next to the car.
“Can you swim?” No promises yet, but Frank and Monica are also trying to rig up a “Wet Nellie” mode for the show! Representing one of the coolest scenes in James Bond history, where the Esprit drives off a pier and dramatically transforms into a submarine. A full 8 years before M.A.S.K., and 40 years before GTA5 did it! The Bond franchise may have moved to a more gritty and realistic style in recent years, but there’s something to be said of the camp and charm of classic James Bond gadgetry…
Get your Photo with Jurassic Park JP18 at Retro Con 2021!
Retro Con may not have a T-rex (yet), but we’re happy to have Jurassic Adventures’ JP18 back on the show floor for Retro Con 2021!

Made from a Jeep Wrangler, this replica has been accurately customized and augmented to resemble the staff vehicles used in the original Jurassic Park movie (and in a callback scene from Jurassic World). Look for it in the car section on the show floor, where the owners will have a themed backdrop and “jungle” set. For a small fee, attendees can get their photo taken with the set, complete with JP-related props for them to hold and interact with. A photo op 65 Million Years in the Making!

A big thanks to jeep owners Frank Bedo and Monica Tulay for bringing their replica to the show! Monica plans to bring some of her fantastic retro-themed costumes to the show, so be sure to visit her table right next to JP 18!!
TV & Movie Cars at Retro Con!
As always, Retro Con will have replica tv and movie vehicles on the show floor!
This year we have the DeLorean time machine (brought to the show by Tom & Amy Silknitter), the A-Team van, Jurassic Park JP-18 (brought to you by Frank Bedo & Monica Tulay), and the Ecto-1 (brought to you by the Delaware Ghostbusters, who will also be part of the show)!
Look for all of them in back of the hall!

See Retro Con’s own A-Team Van at Retro Con 2017!
Retro Con is probably the only convention in the world with its very own A-Team van on call! We’ve been working on this project since October of 2016, and it’s finally ready to be unveiled!
We’ve done our best to replicate the van from the famous 80’s TV show in every detail we could manage. Starting life as a modest 1978 Chevy G-10 work van (we’ll add a build blog later), we’ve added such details as fender flares, running boards, push bar, exterior sun shade, fog lights, sport mirrors, front air dam, quad exhaust tips, turbine wheels, BFGoodrich tires, and of course the unforgettable top fin! The custom paintjob brought it all together!!
Check out the results below…
Photos don’t do the van justice, so please come see it in person at Retro Con 2017!!
Taking pictures of the van is free at the show, or you can get a picture with (or in) the van for the low price of $5 for a person or small group! Have an A-Team related costume? Bring it to the show! We’re offering a FREE photo op with the van to anyone in an A-Team costume!! (All photo ops are on your own camera or phone)
We’d like to thank our good friend Nick Govosdian for his help in getting the van up to snuff mechanically, and we’d also like to thank Bill Cahoe and Hansberry Enterprises in Parker Ford, PA for doing the body and paint work on this project!
Check out JP-18 at Retro Con 2017!
Our good friend Frank Bedo has sent us word that his replica of the Jurassic Park JP-18 service Jeep is ready for patrol! Look for it on the show floor at Retro Con 2017!!
Darth Bug at Retro Con!
We welcome the unique “Darth Bug” to Retro Con! Owned by Mike Buce, Darth Bug was hand-painted (*not* a vinyl wrap) by Kris Zeigler of Pottstown, PA, and is protected by a show-class clear coat. With Star Wars being extremely topical again with the upcoming sequels, we are pleased to see this car at the show!!
Look for Darth Bug in a reserved section of the front parking lot (weather-permitting)! There’s also a chance we will be able to work the car onto the main show floor. Our thanks to Mike Buce for contacting us and offering to bring his beautiful car to the show and talking shop with fellow Star Wars fans!
