Toys For Tots Toy Drive at Retro Con 2019!
Garrison Carida will be returning for Retro Con 2019 with their usual assortment of first-rate costumes and props. But they’ll also be bringing some goodwill to the show by hosting a toy drive!
With the holidays right around the corner (yes it’s true), they’ll have designated bins on the show floor to collect toy donations for Toys For Tots! So if you have a *new and unwrapped toy or game* you’d like to see go to an underprivileged child, please stop by their booth and place it in one of these bins.

Donate to Toys For Tots at Retro Con!
We mostly hold Retro Con for fun, but it’s always nice to be able to help out charitable causes as well! We’ve contacted our good friends over at Garrison Carida, and they have kindly agreed to host a toy drive at the show! We feel this is a perfect fit for Retro Con.
Please bring your *new and unwrapped* toy donations to Retro Con, where the Garrison Carida table will have bins on hand to place them in. All donations will go to the Toys For Tots foundation, who have been delivering toys to less fortunate children for nearly 70 years.
We thank Carida for hosting this event at the show, and for always adding to the show’s atmosphere with their amazing costumes and camaraderie!

Trivia Contest hosted by The Breaux Show at Retro Con 2016!
Get ready to test your mental mettle! We’ve once again combed the far reaches of our attic to find prizes for the Retro Con 2016 trivia contest!! We’ve got a huge selection of retro and retro-related items to give away at the show: Star Wars, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, Transformers, GI Joe, and a whole lot more!
Hosted once again by our good friend Mike Breaux of The Breaux Show, the contest will be held in the panel area at the convention on Saturday!
No sign-up is required and there are no age restrictions- Anyone can watch or play! We will reveal each item one at a time, then ask a trivia question related to it. Directly after we will randomly call on a person in the audience with their hand raised to answer. If they get it right, they win the prize on the spot. If not, we ask a different audience member until the prize is claimed!
So stop by and win some free stuff!!
Darth Bug at Retro Con!
We welcome the unique “Darth Bug” to Retro Con! Owned by Mike Buce, Darth Bug was hand-painted (*not* a vinyl wrap) by Kris Zeigler of Pottstown, PA, and is protected by a show-class clear coat. With Star Wars being extremely topical again with the upcoming sequels, we are pleased to see this car at the show!!
Look for Darth Bug in a reserved section of the front parking lot (weather-permitting)! There’s also a chance we will be able to work the car onto the main show floor. Our thanks to Mike Buce for contacting us and offering to bring his beautiful car to the show and talking shop with fellow Star Wars fans!
