Please welcome the fantastic Diane Salinger to our guest list for Retro Con 2023!

Diane is best known for her part as Simone in the eternal comedy classic Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure! She shared some tender and funny scenes with Paul Reubens, including a notable scene filmed at the famous Cabazon Dinosaurs roadside attraction.  “Do you have any dreams?” “Yeah. I’m all alone. I’m rolling a big donut, and this snake wearing a vest–” “No, not that kind of dream…”

Diane would later reunite with Reubens for Batman Returns in 1992 where they played the socialite parents of the Penguin, and worked together again in 2016 for Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday.

Diane is also a voice actor and played the evil ‘Queen Bansheera’, primary antagonist in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue! She also voiced numerous characters in the smash hit action-roleplay game Skyrim.

Diane has been in countless other movies and tv shows as well, such as Star Trek: DS9, Carnivàle, Charmed, Ghost World, Curb Your Enthusiasm, How I Met Your Mother, Salem, and many more. And she played a wonderfully demented character in the ‘Rest Stop’ horror movie series!
