Thank You From Retro Con!

Retro Con 2019 is in the books and we’re pleased to report we had a record-breaking attendance!! Between the awesome selection of merchandise in the vendor section and the impressive array of costumes we saw, everyone really brought their A-game this year! We have always strived to put on an event that merges toy show and convention, has guests and yet is affordably priced, and doesn’t pander to what’s new and hot. We’re pleased to see we are striking a chord with a crowd that really get what the show is all about. We could really feel the energy in the hall all weekend, and it really helped keep us going.

We would like to thank all of our enthusiastic attendees, our awesome vendors, all of our delightful guests, everyone that helped add to the show’s atmosphere by dressing in costume, the press and news outlets that covered the show, the car owners and costume groups, the Cybertronic Spree for getting more awesome every year, John D’Antonio for creating the epic Retro Con backdrop on the show floor, everyone that helped run events in the panel area, the Game is Afoot Arcade, our A/V tech for the year Tom Dalton, Arnold’s Family Fun Center, Celebworx, Chris Clover, and the Greater Philly Expo Center for having us!

And as always, our biggest thanks goes to our staff and volunteers! Between planning, set-up, showtime, and show breakdown, without their immeasurable help, the show would be an impossible undertaking. Our staff and volunteers this year included Jim Cannon, Sean Phillips, Nancy Squartino, Allie Squartino, Jimmy Tuski, Mike Breaux, Nagi Oki, Leslie AuFancy, Kristy Sproul, Gary Lane, Kyle Williamson, Jack Doud, Anthony Kyzer, Kevin Jones, Candice Santora, Nate Kipphorn, Joe Fiore, Logan Moran, Wendy Wassmer, Brandon Wassmer, Connie Smeriglio, Matt March, Courtney March, Mike Townsend, Zach Townsend, Dean Plakas, Tim Plakas, Trick Treat, Rob Brand, Wayne Kline, Nick Govosdian, Linda Marquis, Teri Marquis, and Denise Marie. You guys are the heart of the show!

Once again, thank you to everyone that attended or supported Retro Con- past or present!
