We would have waited an eternity for this… After an agonizing year stranded on the other side of the Space Bridge, the galaxy’s favorite Transformers-inspired rock band is returning to Pennsylvania as part of their “Programmable Read-Only Memories” Tour! Please welcome back for Retro Con 2026… The Cybertronic Spree!!

Join Hotrod, Arcee, Rumble, Unicron, Soundwave, Bumblebee, Shockwave, and all 5 faces of the Quintesson for a much-needed rock therapy session celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Transformers: The Movie! The classic 1986 animated film that emotionally devastated an entire generation of kids, but also gave us some truly stunning animation, a hard-pumping soundtrack, and a story beyond good, beyond evil, beyond your wildest imagination!

And these rockstars in disguise aren’t just limited to songs about giant transforming robots! The Spree blasts out an energon-powered mix of movie and tv show themes, video game music, classic rock anthems, and even their own original songs. It’s like opening the Matrix and unleashing a tidal wave of pop culture awesomeness! To paraphrase Ultra Magnus: We can’t deal with that now!!

The Spree will be appearing at Retro Con early on Saturday as special guests, where fans can meet them, snap photos, collect autographs, and pick up band merch before they roll out for the evening festivities. Tentative meet-and-greet hours will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Then when the convention floor closes, the real transformation begins! The Cybertronic Spree will perform a live concert at Arnold’s at the Factory right next door to the convention! Concert start time will be 8pm. Tickets for this concert/after-party will be sold separately from Retro Con admission, and go up for sale TOMORROW!!
