Meet the Crew of OSI 74 at Retro Con 2017!

Come to RETRO CON if you love CULT MOVIES, WEIRD VIDEOS, and TV HORROR HOSTS!

After decades in the TV and video business, producer and late night host (and Retro Con regular) MR. LOBO has started a production collective and distribution network called OUTER SPACE INTERNATIONAL. You can see what they do on a free channel for ROKU called OSI 74! It’s the new home for off-center, exceptional, and highly creative independent producers. OSI 74 Specializes in counter-culture and counter programing, “funny ha-ha” and “funny strange”. And it’s all branded in a retro future feel that reminds us of UHF or early cable.

Appearing LIVE and in person at RETRO CON 2017 in OAKS PA on October 14th: MISTER LOBO from CINEMA INSOMNIA, SLEAZY P. MARTINI from GWAR, KARLOS BORLOFF of MONSTER MADHOUSE, BUDDHA GONZALEZ from BIZARRE TRANSMISSIONS, WILLIAM VISNOSKY and the gang from GIANT PENNY PRODUCTIONS of UNSPORTS, OLAV PHILLIPS of PARANOIA, PAUL SANDERS of BESTOW TV, NEWT WALLEN of NERWALL FILMS, and other stars from the streaming channel OSI 74.

Look for Mr. LoBo at Retro Con 2016!

We’re happy to report that our old friend Mr. LoBo will be back again for Retro Con 2016!

MR. LOBO is the mysterious host of the late night movie program CINEMA INSOMNIA–a cult sensation for 15 years and counting and stars as THE AMAZING CRISWELL in the new film PLAN 9(2015), a remake of Ed Wood’s PLAN NINE FROM OUTER SPACE(1959) on Amazon Prime now and Blu Ray this Fall.

His show is nationally syndicated on AMGTV affiliates, seen on ROKU and other streaming devices and channels, and NOW on his own free internet based channel OSI 74 – OSI74.com. He lords over late night slumber party fun with his patented blend of humor and satire.

He proves that “They’re not Bad Movies–Just Misunderstood.” Mr. Lobo has been a special guest and emcee for BLOBFEST in PA since 2010. Mr. Lobo has also hosted many live events and film festivals, and provides background on the films, with comedy, games, and prizes. He has been in dozens of film documentaries, has had many cameos in genre films, is a returning guest on national radio talk shows including COAST TO COAST AM with GEORGE NOORY, provided commentary for MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER box sets, has been featured on TMZ, and parodied on SCOOBY-DOO!

Last year he put out a hot selling Halloween album called HORRIBLE NOISES OF MR. LOBO’S VERY BAD MANOR and a CINEMA INSOMNIA: HAUNTED HOUSE SPECIAL DVD.
