Meet Maurice LaMarche at Retro Con 2025!
A special announcement from our news correspondent Morbo…
Please welcome the great Maurice LaMarche to our guest list for Retro Con 2025, September 6th & 7th in Oaks, Pennsylvania!
An Emmy award-winning voice actor of over 40 years in the business, Maurice’s versatility in the field is legendary, and if you were a cartoon watcher between the 80’s and today, you’ve no doubt heard dozens of his iconic voices!
He played classic characters such as Egon Spengler on the Real Ghostbusters (1986)! The eccentric PKE meter-toting genius of the team, Maurice voiced Egon for six years on the show, and would reprise the character in Extreme Ghostbusters (1997).
He also voiced a myriad of characters on Futurama, including Kif Kroker, Lrrr, Walt, Calculon, and sadistic news anchor Morbo the Annihilator! “Windmills do not work that way! Good night!”
And proving he can do it all, Maurice is the cool calculating voice of Mr. Freeze in the ‘Batman: Arkham’ series of video games.
Maurice is also a master impressionist, with hilarious takes on William Shatner, Rod Serling, and of course his iconic Orson Welles impression which was used on The Critic, The Simpsons, Futurama, and was the basis for one of his most popular animated roles…
The Brain! Maurice voiced the more devious half of the classic rodent pair ‘Pinky & the Brain’. First as a part of the Animaniacs series, and then in their own spin-off show in 1995. A truly timeless comedy series, the show celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year!
Are you pondering what we’re pondering? If you’ve been keeping up with our show announcements, you’ll know that Maurice joins fellow voice acting legend Rob Paulsen at Retro Con 2025. Which of course means… Pinky & the Brain reunion!! In addition to individual autographs and table photo ops at the show, we also plan to make available a pro photo op with both actors together. That’s right: Pinky… the Brain… and YOU!
Keep watching our pages, more great guest announcements to come! What are we going to do till then? Same thing we do every night… Try to take over the world!
Meet Bruce Boxleitner at Retro Con 2025!
“You’re very persistent, Tron!”
“I’m also better than you…”
He fights for the Users! Please welcome esteemed actor Bruce Boxleitner to Retro Con 2025, September 6th & 7th in Oaks, Pennsylvania!
Bruce is popularly known for his dual role as Tron and Alan Bradley in the classic 1982 Disney sci-fi movie… Tron! *cue fanfare music* It’s a role he would reprise in the 2010 ultramodern sequel Tron: Legacy, and voice in the 2003 video game Tron 2.0, the 2006 Square-Enix/Disney crossover game Kingdom Hearts II, 2010’s Tron: Evolution, and the criminally underrated Tron: Uprising animated series!
Bruce also played secret agent and charmer Lee “Scarecrow” Stetson in the hit 80’s adventure/comedy series Scarecrow and Mrs. King (co-starring Kate Jackson), and of course had a long-running role as Captain John Sheridan on the hit 90’s sci-fi series Babylon 5, created by the great J. Michael Straczynski!
You may also have seen Bruce on such series as Bring ‘Em Back Alive, How the West Was Won, The Gambler, Supergirl, The Outer Limits, Tales From the Crypt, Heroes, Chuck, NCIS, The Orville, and dozens more!
Meet the one and only Bruce Boxleitner this September at Retro Con! He’ll be participating in autographs, table photos, and pro photo ops (prices will be up on the website as we approach showtime). He’ll also be having a Q&A at the show.
More guest announcements to come, so stay connected to the Grid!
Meet Rob Paulsen at Retro Con 2025!
We’re kicking off our guest list with a returning favorite… please welcome to Retro Con 2025 the amazing talent of voice actor Rob Paulsen!!
With hundreds of acting credits over the course of four decades, it’s hard to pick one main character Rob voiced. He played resident wisecracker Raphael through all ten seasons of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon from 1987 to 1996, later voicing tech-head Donatello in the 2012 version of the TMNT series! On top of that, Rob was brought on to be voice director of 2018’s ‘Rise of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, making him a major part of three official Turtle productions!
He also played zany fast-talking Yakko Warner on Animaniacs, as well as the Warner siblings’ stressed-out psychiatrist Dr. Otto Scratchansniff! Rob also voiced loveable dimwit Pinky on the hit show ‘Pinky & the Brain’, which celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year! Narf!
Rob has more action cartoon geek cred with voices such as Slingshot and Air Raid on G1 Transformers, and Snowjob and Tripwire on GI Joe! You can also hear him as Jack Fenton on Danny Phantom, Carl Wheezer on Jimmy Neutron, Starlight on Justice League, Major Glory on Dexter’s Lab, Arthur on The Tick, and the title characters on Mighty Max, The Mask, and Saber Rider. And that’s just for starters!
Catch the one and only Rob Paulsen at Retro Con 2025, September 6th & 7th in Oaks, PA! And stay tuned, more guest announcements coming soon!!

Meet Kelli Maroney at Retro Con 2024!
Late-addition guest announcement! You wanted her, you got her… Kelli Maroney is coming to Retro Con 2024, September 7th & 8th in Oaks, Pennsylvania!!
“Daddy would have gotten us Uzis…” Kelli played Samantha in the 1980’s cult classic Night of the Comet, also celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year! The younger of the two Belmont sisters, Sam and her sis Reggie found themselves unlikely survivors of a civilization-ending event, leaving them to survive against cannibalistic zombies and a sketchy group of scientists. The movie mixes horror, sci-fi, and comedy into a film that’s attracted fans across many genres and ages!
Kelli was also in another 80’s movie with a cult following, 1986’s camp classic Chopping Mall! A trio of roving rolling security robots go berserk, stalking teenage employees after hours in a multi-level shopping mall! Originally called “Killbots”, the movie flew under the radar until it got a clever name change to “Chopping Mall”. It’s an unapologetic slice of 80’s cheese, and another favorite in the Retro Con household! “HAVE A NICE DAY!”
Kelli joins her Night of the Comet co-star Catherine Mary Stewart at Retro Con 2024! They’ll be having a Night of the Comet 40th Anniversary panel together on Saturday afternoon, and we’re also planning a pro photo op session with the two! Stay tuned for details!
A huge Thank You to Kelli for being so easygoing to work with, and helping us work within our already maxed-out budget for the year! PLEASE stop by her table to show her some love. She’ll have autographs and photo ops for sale, and even a limited supply of custom “Killbot” figures! We already called dibs one of them for ourselves. 😛
Also a big thanks to our old friend Kyle for putting the good word in for us and helping us make contact with Kelli!

Meet Townsend Coleman at Retro Con 2024!

The voice of the turtle most likely to yell “COWABUNGA!!” during a martial arts melee is coming to the show! Please welcome the versatile Townsend Coleman to Retro Con 2024!!
Townsend’s biggest character is easily Michelangelo in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon from 1987! Known for being the fun loving, laid back, nunchuck (sometimes grappling hook) wielding “party dude” of the team, Townsend voiced the wildly popular character through a whopping 193 episodes of the original cartoon across its 9 year run on television! He would reprise the role in TMNT projects ever since, including tv series, specials, and video games featuring the ’87 version of the character!
“SPOON!!” Townsend also played the title character in the 1994 Saturday morning cartoon The Tick! Based on the popular comic created by cartoonist Ben Edlund and brought to TV by Sunbow Productions, the cartoon perfectly captured the comic’s quirky wit and satire through its three seasons on Fox Kids. Townsend also voiced Lava Man, Man-Eating Cow, and Eyebrows Mulligan on the show!
You can also hear Townsend on the fan-favorite 2008 series ‘Transformers: Animated’, where he voiced the arrogant “Autobot you love to hate” Sentinel Prime! He also played popular rocker Riot on the Jem cartoon, Scott Howard on CBS’s Teen Wolf cartoon (along side fellow Retro Con guest Don Most), Waldo on Where’s Waldo, Corporal Capeman on Inspector Gadget, Lord Darius in Mass Effect, Rewind on G1 Transformers, and Colt on ‘Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs’!
Meet Townsend Coleman at Retro Con 2024, September 7th & 8th in Oaks, PA!
